There's plenty of money being made in the city but most of it is exchanged in twenty's, ten's, fives and ones and that's just the way it is and always will be. Having said that millions of people flock to the city each day so it must not be that bad!

Let it be for to hear a concert, to see a sporting event or to gamble your life away. Detroit is always ready for a party furthermore We have history here in Detroit from a historical point of view. We are pit bulls During world war two Detroit was vital in producing tanks and other critical needs helping us to win the war and become the great country we are today. Yes that's right the same hands you talk shit about helped formed this country!

Ok we're not perfect! Somehow we messed up Barry Sanders from being on our sports team. Barry was hands down the greatest running back in the history of sports! It's mind blowing to think we lost the auto industry to people across the ocean.

The city of Detroit has birthed concepts like Motown, the auto industry, hockey town. We are known world wide for our musical talent and even welcomed the movie industry to our town for filming purposes. Our town's been featured in Major films and known world wide with just one word. Saying your from Detroit will always garner a reaction.

Who controls and owns the city will never be public due to groups who own the city. Full of old and new money No matter how much bad press the city get's Detroit Michigan is a popular place and a destination for millions who are looking for a good time.

I have no idea how we lost the lead in auto industry. We had a really big head start and it's sad that it happened. I know we are making a rebound but still billions is billions and there was really no reason to fall behind on any level with such a head start. It's nice to see the big three back let's hope we learned our lesson!

I've only watched Johnny Knoxville act like a punk on T.V so watching this video shocked me. To see him step up and cover something as real as Detroit Like a man and not some over grown teenager was kick ass. I was impressed with his documentary skills. Instead of having people kicking him in the balls or jumping off a roof top into a picnic table he actually did something that had merit to it and for that I applaud his talent and effort in the documentary on Detroit.

I see a future and a legacy in his documentary abilities and I question what people are thinking who are close to him. The guy is clearly a talent in Documentary/reality shows and should do more shows with substance. Clear to see that people are somehow holding him back because he's a natural at hosting documentaries!

The city of Detroit is a city all to it's self. It's heart beat and locals are original and found only here in Detroit. It's a culture all onto it's self. Yes everything under the sun happens in Detroit but if it was that bad people who avoid coming to the city in the first place.

With Millions of visitors a month exploring the downtown area the truth about the city begins to show. With hundreds of millions of dollars being invested yearly into Detroit. The manic interest in what can be far out shadows the horrific crimes that occur on a daily basis.

Funny how Guns and rose wrote their anthem about L/A and how it's such a jungle. If L/A's a Jungle then Detroit is the AMAZON! That being said if your from Detroit your prepared for most anything that could go down! Our city is popular making millions of those who visit. Detroit has more talent than any other city in the world and one would only know that if you were from the city.

F.Y.I To the editor of the documentary who stated some homes go for $6,000 dollars.  Truth is some go for less than $300 adding to the troubles the city has restoring peace and order to the city. I've known people with larger monthly cell phone bills than $300 bucks! The local news makes money from the drama of filming what's wrong with the city but does a poor or non existent job of identifying the causes of the problems. Sad to note that whatever sells ad space becomes news but welcome to Detroit!

It's the best city in the world to be from and it's connected to everything one could imagine. For that I say thank's Detroit for the Education you were a good teacher! It's true sometimes one must make there own fun here but if you get out even for a moment you can bump into a good time! Anyways if you have the gut's come on down and have a blast in Detroit! I've partied here a thousands times and never had a problem! Just be chill and have the time of your life!

Enjoy the best music in the world with act's like Kid rock, Madonna, Elemental77, Jennifer Westood, Bloodline Riot and thousands of other acts that simply are worlds best that were born and raised in Detroit. That's right you can party with the best people in the world and get down like you never have before! Don't believe the spin, the hype, come on down and have a good time!
