#987 Lost in Flight - Ireland A four-piece rock band from Dublin. Formerly known as Vic! I have no idea how I keep finding mind blowing bands like this! I think I should play the lotto today! Sometimes I will look for an hour and I won't find anything worthy of our top 100. This band's sound places one in a trance so deep one feels stoned! I love their sound and yearn for more!

#986 High Highs - New York, New York, The band sounds like a love child from Nirvana meets the Beatles. The band offers up the new hip melodic unknown that listeners crave. I could instantly hear genius in their sound and the talent of the band. The singer songwriter of the band make them stick out to me out of the thousands of bands that are great! Look for this band to break out in 2012. I think it won't take much for them to achieve national status it will be interesting to see what the year brings for this mega talented act.

#985 The bee's - Ventnor, Isle of Wight, England. Classified as indie rock, psychedelic rock, with influences, ranging from 1960s garage rock, country, reggae and jazz, folk and blues. This band has something going for it that few do. I can hear and imagine this band taking over the stage a festival! I must give respect to their talent it's off the charts. The bees can do what ever it is they want and I wouldn't be shocked to see them at the top this year!

#984 Lissie Rock Island, Illinois. I won't Lie Lissie is hot and I'm partial to hot woman who have talent! Especially Musical talent! Her ability to evoke emotion on stage and pull you in is second to none! She's a top talent who is well on her way to serious stardom with her music being featured on national shows like House, The O.C., Veronica Mars and Wildfire. In early 2008, Lenny Kravitz invited her to open for his Love Revolution Tour. Lissie signed with Sony Music UK's Columbia Records which is  a big deal for any artist.

She continues to find constant success but yet I've never heard of her before. She's not an artist that you hear 100 times a week and I think in the bigger scheme of things that's alright! The universe needs room for everyone and it's clear the stage is where her soul must be. Her debut album, Catching a Tiger, was released on 21 June 2010 with Columbia records UK. Lissie is featured on at least 4 or 5 tracks on Snow Patrol's album Fallen Empires released in November 2011.

Her cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Go Your Own Way' found national attention in early 2012, when it was used in the Twinings advert. To me she's building her acclaim, contacts, song catalog. I find what she's accomplished in such a short period of time to be amazing. Since she's not on the radio twenty four hours a day let's see what happen! I think she will become a household name in 2013 but being the best at your style is just one aspect of our top 1000. For a band to become band of the year with our site they must meet ten other factors as well so this should be very interesting! Lissie resides in Ojai, California a sleepy little town just outside of L/A. Interesting to note that myspace is How Lenny Kravitz found her so I guess you never know!
